Cyclist Struck

A 27 year old Sarnia man was riding his bicycle southbound on Indian Road South last evening at approximately 8:15 PM when he was struck by a car.  The car was being operated by an 80 year old Sarnia man who was also driving southbound on Indian Road, near Hickory Drive. 

The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injuries.  The car had to be towed from the scene.  There were witnesses in the area at the time.  The cyclist received a Provincial Offence Notice for Improper Bicycle Lighting which carried a total fine of $35.00.
