Written by Constable Les Jones on June 29th, 2012

Sarnia Police Vice Branch stopped a motor vehicle on Grandview Avenue last night around 10:30 PM.  Three males and one female, ranging in age from 18 to 20, all from Sarnia, were found in the car.

Located on an 18 year old male were 14 1/2 eighty milligram Oxycodone pills.  The street value of this seizure is valued at $1,450.00.   This male will be held for a bail hearing and faces a charge of Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking.

The other three were all released on Promise to Appears for court in July.  They each face a charge of Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking.  One of the men will also speak to a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.

The investigation revealed that over the past several days, the man being held for bail was selling the oxycodone to younger persons within the community.  This oxycodone is the original type and not the new oxy-neo recently released.
