Easter Long Weekend in Review (April 15 to April 19, 2022)

 

Over the course of the long weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 240 calls for service. Calls included the following:

13 – Alarms

5 – Ambulance assists

5 – Animal complaints

12 – Disturb the peace

21 – Domestic disputes

6 – Family disputes

6 – Mental Health Act

17 – Person welfare / well-being checks

6 – Shoplifts

7 – Thefts

12 – Traffic complaints

8 – Trespass to property

21 – Unwanted persons

Road officers conducted approximately 44 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 64 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the long weekend for various offences.
