Please Help Identify Suspects

Broadcast time: 4:25pm

Date: September 2, 2021

The Sarnia Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals.

Between the evening hours of August 25th, 2021 and the early morning hours of August 26th, 2021, a resident in the 200 block of Washington Court in Sarnia, had a Canadian Military issued CADPAT backpack stolen from his vehicle that was parked in the driveway. The backpack contained personal clothes and sunglasses along with a Canadian Military issued CADPAT helmet.

Some of the clothing items contained in the backpack were discovered a short distance away on the front lawn of a residence in the 400 block of Autumn Breeze Drive, although the CADPAT backpack and helmet remain unaccounted for. (*see similar images below)

Just prior to 3am, on August 26th, 2021, a surveillance video was able to capture two suspects biking through this neighbourhood. One male suspect wearing a black t-shirt with a white Nike emblem can be seen checking a locked door handle on a parked truck, and then quickly biking away from this driveway. The second suspect is captured at the same time biking on the street going past this location and then disappearing from view.
