Sarnia Police Requesting Public’s Assistance Regarding Break and Enters

Currently the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating a series of incidents that occurred in the early morning hours of January 4, 2019.

During the incidents suspects forced their way into the residences of various individuals and the suspects were believed to be in possession of weapons. The suspects drove around in a black GMC pickup truck while going from location to location. These incidents occurred between the hours of 2:00 AM and 5:30 AM and the accused individuals and the victims were known to each other.

No one was injured during these encounters.

The Sarnia Police Service has since arrested the suspects who are alleged to have been involved:

  1. Chandrianna Nancy Cooper, 23 years of age, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house
  2. Ryan George Dionne, 30 years of age, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house
  3. Nicholas Andrew Dodorico, 24 years of age, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house
  4. Donovan Eli Joseph, 22 years of age, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house, and two counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

The fifth individual is a young offender and faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house, two counts of failing to comply with recognizance, and failing to comply with sentence.

Investigators require the public’s assistance regarding possible security video that may exist for the following areas and times:

  1. The 100 block of Brock St North between the hours of 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM on January 4, 2020
  2. The 300 block of Exmouth St between the hours of 4:00 AM and 5:00 PM on January 4, 2020
  3. The 100 block of Stuart St between the hours of 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM on January 4, 2020
