The Sarnia Police Services Board wishes to announce the appointment of Inspector Peter Murphy to the position of Acting Deputy Chief for the Sarnia Police Service, as of June 20, 2022.
A/Deputy Chief Peter Murphy began his career with the Sarnia Police Service in 1999 and has risen through the ranks of Constable, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Inspector, and is now serving in his current appointment.
A/Deputy Chief Peter Murphy will continue in his position while the Sarnia Police Services Board undertakes a formal competition to appoint a permanent Deputy Chief.
On behalf of the Board and the entire Sarnia Police Service we would like to thank A/Deputy Chief Peter Murphy for taking on this role of guiding the Sarnia Police Service through this period.
