On January 26, 2021, at approximately 8:05 PM, a Sarnia Police Service officer conducted a vehicle stop in the 100 block of Bright Street.
As a result of the stop a suspect in this matter was arrested and taken into police custody. The suspect later reported to have sustained injuries while in police custody and the Sarnia Police Service has notified The Special Investigations Unit.
The Special Investigations Unit has since invoked their mandate.
