Members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit have been actively investigated a suspect who is alleged to traffic large quantities of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine in the City of Sarnia.
On July 13, 2022, the Sarnia Police Vice Unit had gathered enough grounds to arrest the suspect for the charges of trafficking. At approximately 4:40 PM members of the Vice Unit and general patrol conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle driven by the suspect in the area of Trudeau Drive. The vehicle also had a passenger.
Both parties were taken into custody without incident. Upon completing a search officers located the following:
The total street value of the substances seized is alleged to be approximately $35,760.
As a result of the investigation Derrick Alan Pillon, 42 years of age, of Windsor, faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of breach of probation, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
The passenger in the motor vehicle, Jordan Laura Daye, 28 years of age, of Corunna, faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
