The Sarnia Police Service is proud to advise the public that two of its officers have been recognized by the Province of Ontario with the Ontario Medal for Police Bravery for their outstanding courage.
The recipients of this medal are Constable Adam Williamson and Constable Greg Babcock for an incident that occurred in 2021.
These officers were dispatched to a call that had reached a very critical stage and could have ended in the serious bodily harm or death of the victim. Not only did they save the individual from harm but were also able to take the accused into custody in a safe and effective manner.
Due to the nature surrounding the call details will not be made available to protect those involved.
Constable Williamson and Babcock were recognized for their actions by the Province of Ontario on Friday, April 22, 2022, via a video conference call.
